L’ultima azione: assaporare il cibo preferito celebrando così la vita un’ultima volta o lasciare un cruciale messaggio ai posteri? Questo l’inquietante dilemma a cui risponde The Last Supper, intrigante performance scritta e diretta da Mole Wetherell ripensata e riallestita per il pubblico italiano. Uno spettacolo in cui gli spettatori sono invitati a cena mentre tre attori, nel ruolo di padroni di casa, narrano le storie e le ultime parole di personaggi famosi e non, criminali, vittime ed eroi del passato e del presente, da Beethoven a Che Guevara, da Maria Antonietta a Copernico, dai condannati nel braccio della morte alle vittime di Hiroshima. Storie curiose, a volte accennate o suggerite in altri casi ricostruite nel dettaglio. Un intelligente mix di umorismo e intensità emotiva.

The last action: savor the favorite food to celebrate life one last time or leave a message crucial to posterity? This is the troubling dilemma to which it responds The Last Supper, intriguing performance written and directed by Mole Wetherell rethought and rearranged for the Italian public. A show in which viewers are invited to dinner while three actors in the role of hosts, tell the stories and the last words of famous and common people, criminals, victims and heroes of the past and present, from Beethoven to Che Guevara, from Marie Antoinette to Copernicus, from convicts on death row to the victims of Hiroshima. Curious stories, sometimes just sketched or suggested, in other cases reconstructed in detail. An intelligent mix of humor and emotional intensity.
As in all the best dinners, seating is limited and reservations are highly recommended.
