COLLETTIVO CINETICO – 縛りSHIBARI_Site specific di Benvenuto Umano
Shibari è un rito contemporaneo, una catarsi per luoghi cristallizzati, un dialogo, una ferita aperta tra antico e moderno che si interroga su come il corpo si traduca nell’offrir- si all’immagine e diventare simbolo. Shibari incrocia i misteri dei quadri di Schifano con riferimenti che provengono dalla medicina cinese. La sintesi definitiva del lungo percor- so di site-specific che ha accompagnato la creazione di Benvenuto Umano prende corpo in un lavoro per spazi non teatrali. Una contaminazione di generi e simboli per la creazio- ne di un immaginario scuro e sudato, un geroglifico in movimento, un dialogo tra spetta- tori di ere lontane.

CollettivO CineticO, com- pagnia residente del Teatro Comunale di Ferrara, ha ricevuto numerosi premi tra cui: Jurislav KorenićAward Best Young Theatre Director; Premio Rete Critica 2014 come mi- glior artista 2014; Premio Danza & Danza 2015 a Francesca Pennini come miglior coreo- grafa e interprete, nomination premi UBU miglior performer under 35; Premio Hystrio Iceberg 2016; Premio MESS al BE Festival di Birmingham 2016; Premio Nazionale dei Cri- tici di Teatro per il Teatro Danza 2016.

COLLETTIVO CINETICO – 縛りSHIBARI_Site specific of Benvenuto Umano
CollettivO CineticO is an experimental performing arts group founded in 2007 by the choreographer Francesca Pennini in collaboration with the dramaturg Angelo Pedroni and more than 50 artists from different disciplines. Their research focuses on the nature of the performative event discussing its mechanisms with ludic and rigorous formats, in the interstices between dance, theater and visual arts. The company is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Emilia Romagna Region and is resident at the Teatro Comunale in Ferrara. Until now the company has created 37 pieces receiving many awards.
Shibari is a piece that cross-references the mysteries of Schifanoia’s paintings with the traditional Chinese medicine. A taste for the detail that spreads in the complexity of pagan rites from different civilizations. Anatomy and astronomy, natural elements and urban perspectives in a body work that speaks a forgotten and a just invented language.
The show in Polverigi will be the a special site-specific event of the project Benvenuto Umano.
