CLAUDIA DIAS: dal 30 Maggio al 12 Giugno

Al via il secondo workshop di ricerca e perfezionamento a Villa Nappi, cantiere creativo per i giovani artisti di InteatroFestivalAcademy.

Protagonista indiscussa di un’ultima generazione di  talentuosi coreografi attivi sulla  scena internazionale, Claudia Dias, artista mentor del corso, è stata la scoperta del Festival Inteatro 2006 con il geniale spettacolo, Visita Guiada, racconto della città di Lisbona filtrato attraverso la fisicità e la quotidianità dell’artista. Lo spettacolo è stato poi presentato con grande successo in numerosissimi Festival di tutta Europa.

Il suo metodo di lavoro, incentrato sulla capacità di racconto del corpo, si sviluppa secondo una matrice di tipo concettuale e si caratterizza per una grande esattezza compositiva e spaziale. Le sono particolarmente care le tematiche legate al rapporto tra l’uomo e l’ambiente naturale ed urbano.

Cláudia Dias è nata a Lisbona il 10 agosto 1972. Ha iniziato la sua formazione di danza presso l’Academia Almadense (1980-1989). Ha proseguito gli studi con la Companhia de Dança de Lisboa (1987-1989). Ha frequentato il corso di formazione professionale per interpreti di Danza Contemporanea, Forum Dança (1997/98). Ha frequentato il Corso di Perfezionamento in Management delle Organizzazioni e progetti culturali, Cultideias (2009).
Ha fatto parte dell’ Almada Dance Group (1990-1997) e del collettivo Ninho de Víboras (1997/2004).
Ha collaborato con RE.AL, essendo stata un interprete centrale nel lavoro di João Fiadeiro e nello sviluppo, nella sistematizzazione e la trasmissione di Composizione Real Time (2001/09).
Ha ideato “one woman show” (2003), “Visita Guiada” (2005), “Das Coisas Nascem Coisas” (2008), e l’installazione “23 +1” (2010).
Ha lanciato in partnership con Márcia Lancia un progetto educativo intorno alla coreografia, che ha portato l’opera “Vende-se país solarengo com vista para o mar” (2009/10), prodotto da Ninho de Víboras.
Ha fondato con João Samões e Monia Mota l’Associazione Culturale Os Três Caracois (2010).
Il suo lavoro come interprete, coreografa e insegnante è stato ospitato in diverse situazioni, sia teatri che festival, in Portogallo, Spagna, Italia, Grecia, Francia, Belgio, Svizzera, Galles, Irlanda e Brasile.
Sta lavorando alla sua nuova creazione che uscirà in ottobre.

Kicks off at Villa Nappi the second workshop of research and training for the group of young artists of Inteatro Festival Academy.

The mentor of the workshop is Cláudia Dias, started her classical dance training at the Academia Almadense. Then, she obtained a scholarship to enrol in the Companhia De Dança de Lisboa. She started her collaboration with RE.AL in 2001.

Her second solo, Visita Guiada, has been presented in InteatroFestival 2006. Her work is focused on the storytelling ability of the body and it is characterized by great accuracy and spatial composition. She particularly works on the issues related to the relationship between humans and the natural and urban environment.
At the atelier RE.AL., she leads courses of Real Time Composition method with with João Fiadeiro, Tiago Guedes and Márcia Lança.
Cláudia Dias was born in Lisbon on August 10, 1972.  She began her dance training at the Academia Almadense (1980/89). She continued her studies as a scholarship student at the Companhia de Dança de Lisboa (1987/89).
Attended Professional Training Course for Interpreters of Contemporary Dance, Forum Dança (1997/98).
She attended the Specialization Course in Management of Organizations and Cultural Projects, Cultideias (2009).
Joined the Almada Dance Group (1990/97). She belonged to the collective Ninho de Víboras (1997/2004).
Collaborated with RE.AL, having been a central interpreter in the work of João Fiadeiro and in the development, systematization, and transmission of Real Time Composition (2001/09).
Created  “One Woman Show” (2003), “Visita Guiada” (2005), “Das Coisas Nascem Coisas” (2008), and the installation “23 +1” (2010). Addressed in partnership with Márcia Lancia an educational project around the choreography, which led to the work “Vende-se país solarengo com vista para o mar” (2009/10), produced by Ninho de Víboras.  Created with João Samões e Mónia Mota the Cultural Association Os Três Caracóis (2010).
Her work as a choreographer, performer and educator has been welcome by several structures, theatres and festivals in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Wales, Ireland and Brazil.
She is working in her new creation that will have the premier on October 2011.
